I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Costello — that the Minister ensure the future of the Children's Hospital, Temple Street, by transferring it to the proposed joint campus at the Mater Hospital; (2) Deputy Durkan — the decision by the Department to refuse one parent family allowance to a person (details supplied) on the basis of the habitual residence condition; (3) Deputy Gogarty — if the Minister will appoint a Commissioner to carry out and have full responsibility for the functions of Fingal County Council; (4) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister if she will indicate when regulations on practitioners in alternative medicine will be put in place in the interest of public safety; (5) Deputy Devins — to ask the Minister to discuss the implications of the roll-out of water metering as is happening in County Sligo; (6) Deputy Broughan — the need for a new ministerial or other inquiry into the findings of the Stardust tribunal report of June 1982 in the light of new information; (7) Deputy Eamon Ryan — to ask the Minister his plans for a new tolling scheme on the M50 and the purpose of the proposed new traffic survey on the M50 to be carried out by the NRA; (8) Deputy Crowe — the reason the Minister blocked vital funding for a multi-use stadium for Tallaght against the express wishes and overwhelming support of local public representatives; and (9) Deputy Sargent — that the Minister outline the mechanisms open to members of any credit union board who become aware of a possible conflict of interest.

The matters raised by Deputies Costello, Sargent, Durkan and Devins have been selected for discussion.
