Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Costello — the need to include a residents-only parking clause by amending the Roads Bill 2007; (2) Deputy O'Shea — the restoration of a blind pension to a person in County Waterford; (3) Deputy Cowley — the need to provide funding for the Ballinrobe youth development project, County Mayo; (4) Deputies Michael D. Higgins and McCormack — the need for the Government to take steps to ameliorate the deteriorated and unsafe condition of Galway's water supply; (5) Deputy Penrose — the turbary rights of farmers in the Carn Park and Crosswood Bogs; (6) Deputy Olivia Mitchell — the need to restore National Educational Psychological Service cover to schools in the constituency of Dublin South; (7) Deputy Enright — the need for adequate funding for the provision of digital hearing aids for all applicants; (8) Deputy Ó Snodaigh — the need for the Minister for Health and Children to address the longest waiting list for drug addicts in the Ballyfermot area; (9) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the need for the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government to address infrastructural funding inadequacies in counties such as Kildare in light of the significant population growth seen in recent years; (10) Deputy Gilmore — the delay by the Department of Foreign Affairs in providing a certificat de coutume needed by a person to allow them to marry in Malta; and (11) Deputy Hayes — the pupil-teacher ratio in a school in County Tipperary.

The matters raised by Deputies Enright, Michael D. Higgins and McCormack and Catherine Murphy have been selected for discussion.
