Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Charles Flanagan — what actions the Minister proposes to take to progress and advance urgently required new capital infrastructure projects for primary schools in Portlaoise where the lack of adequate facilities is creating great hardship for parents, teachers and pupils; (2) Deputy James Bannon — to consider the possibility of a district heating system supplied by the Lanesboro power station and the provision of funding for a feasibility study for same; (3) Deputy Deirdre Clune — the need to ensure that Cork Airport's proposed independent debt-free status be fully implemented; (4) Deputy Mary O'Rourke — to outline in full the Government's plans for dealing with parents of children with autism who require the ABA method of education for their children; (5) Deputy Dan Neville — the relocation of the Central Mental Hospital alongside the new super prison; (6) Deputy Fergus O'Dowd — to ask the Minister to outline his position on the M3 at Tara, if he intends to reverse the decision of his predecessor, and if he or his party had any prior contact with his predecessor before the decision was made to build over the henge at Lismullen; (7) Deputy Jan O'Sullivan — to give recognition on a pilot basis to the 12 ABA schools that are awaiting a decision from her Department on funding, in conjunction with the commitment in the programme for Government to fully recognise a further 12 ABA schools that are already funded on a pilot basis; and (8) Deputy Olwyn Enright — the matter of investigations to be carried out by the Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources into the second temporary closure of the Shannonbridge power station, when it is likely to reopen and the need for guarantees to be provided these difficulties will not be repeated.

The matters raised by Deputies Neville, O'Rourke, O'Sullivan and O'Dowd have been selected for discussion.
