Climate Change Bill 2009: First Stage.

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to set a target for the year 2050 for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions; to provide for a system of carbon budgeting; to make other provisions about climate change; and to provide related matters.
