Financial Resolutions 2011

The arrangements for the debate on the Financial Resolutions are as follows: the speech of the Taoiseach and of the leaders of the Fine Gael Party, the Labour Party, the Green Party and Sinn Féin, or a person nominated in his or her stead who shall be called upon in that order, shall not exceed 40 minutes in each case, and the sitting shall be suspended for 60 minutes following the leaders' speeches.

On a point of order, while I do not wish to disrupt proceedings, will time be made available for Independent Deputies to contribute?

Has the Deputy spoken to the Whips?

I speak to them every day but I am not making much progress.
