Adjournment Debate Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Nicky McFadden — the use of medication to subdue patients who exhibit challenging behaviour; (2) Deputy Joan Collins — the need for the HSE to release the Meridian Productivity report on the Dublin paediatric hospitals and have it debated in Dáil Éireann; (3) Deputy John O'Mahony — the need to address the rising cost of fuel; (4) Deputies Pearse Doherty and Pádraig Mac Lochlainn — the need to establish immediately an interdepartmental response unit to deal with the fires that have spread across many parts of the State; (5) Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív — an gá atá ann go gcuirfear dóthain airgid chaipitil ar fáil d'Údarás na Gaeltachta don trí bliana atá romhainn; (6) Deputy Joe Costello — the need to include the National Asset Management Agency within the remit of the Freedom of Information Act; and (7) Deputy Robert Troy — the need to provide additional funding in respect of Multyfarnham and Milltownpass community centres, County Westmeath.

The matters raised by Deputies Joe Costello, John O'Mahony and Pearse Doherty and Pádraig Mac Lochlainn have been selected for discussion.,
