I thank Deputies on the other side of the House for their co-operation during the passage of the Bill. It is an important part of Government policy to open up the general medical service to allow doctors who are suitably qualified to deliver services in parts of the country that currently have no service and to open the service to competition, to the benefit of the recipients of the service.
