Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 29A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Imelda Munster - collated data of council-owned landbanks zoned for housing; (2) Deputy Josepha Madigan - to address the delayed report into the reopening of six Garda stations; (3) Deputy Kathleen Funchion - the future of the Clonmel to Dublin bus service; (4) Deputy Tom Neville - the issue of littering in rural Ireland; (5) Deputy Michael D'Arcy - review of Garda resources and geographic spread of stations; (6) Deputy Thomas Byrne - the process for DEIS selections; (7) Deputy Niall Collins - protection of records of the former Glin industrial school in Limerick; (8) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - capacity for coast guard service provision in the Irish Air Corps; (9) Deputies Mary Butler, James Lawless, John Brassil, James Browne Dara Calleary, Fiona O'Loughlin, John Lahart, Willie O'Dea, Kevin O'Keeffe - the impact of JobPath on community employment schemes; (10) Deputy Jim Daly - cancellation of radio therapy treatment for cancer patients at Cork University Hospital; (11) Deputy Mattie McGrath - the future of the Bord na Móna plant at Littleton, County Tipperary; (12) Deputy Gino Kenny - the UN Israeli apartheid report; (13) Deputy Bríd Smith - the direct provision system; (14) Deputy Timmy Dooley - reported closure of some post offices; (15) Deputy Clare Daly - the position of the Garda Commissioner during the Charleton inquiry; (16) Deputy Mick Wallace - the unemployment rate in Wexford; (17) Deputy John Curran - restructuring of the Air Corps; (18) Deputy Billy Kelleher - anti-vaccination campaigns; (19) Deputy Charlie McConalogue - reports of contaminated meat products in Brazilian exports; (20) Deputy Robert Troy - Irish Water's engagement with local authorities; and (21) Deputy Niamh Smyth - ministerial plans for the community employment and Tús schemes in view of their benefit to individuals and local communities.

The matters raised by Deputies Imelda Munster, Josepha Madigan, Jim Daly and Niamh Smyth have been selected for discussion.
