Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin - to discuss the proposed Garda station for the Dublin 13 and 17 area at Northern Cross; (2) Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - to discuss wastewater treatment for the Castletownshend area; (3) Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the current situation regarding the MV Alta wreckage in Ballycotton, east Cork; (4) Deputy Holly Cairns - to discuss fuel poverty over Christmas and the new year; (5) Deputy Ruairí Ó Murchú - to discuss the implications of the Nationality and Borders Bill for non-Irish EU citizens living in the Twenty-six Counties as regards travelling to the Six Counties; (6) Deputy Brian Stanley - to discuss the need to resume day care services at Abbeyleix hospital; (7) Deputy Louise O'Reilly - to discuss the shortage of secondary school places in north County Dublin; (8) Deputy Catherine Connolly - to discuss the need for a review of the decision to outsource catering facilities in St. Francis day centre, Newcastle, Galway; (9) Deputy Martin Browne - to discuss the allocation to the Dean Maxwell unit in Roscrea under the National Development Fund; (10) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss the dire financial circumstances of musicians; (11) Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to discuss the findings of the NewEra medium term financial review of the Shannon Group; (12) Deputy Violet-Anne Wynne - to discuss the recently published cost of disability research report; (13) Deputies Martin Kenny and Pauline Tully - to discuss the lack of a transfer system for HSE speech therapists wishing to relocate from Dublin to rural Ireland; (14) Deputy Chris Andrews - to discuss the 14.4% increase in school transport costs for children with additional needs in south Dublin; and (15) Deputy Verona Murphy - to discuss the availability of respite beds to family members with physical and intellectual disabilities.

The matters raised by Deputies Ó Ríordáin, O'Sullivan, Wynne and Connolly have been selected for discussion.
