Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor - to discuss the number of community gardaí in Carlow-Kilkenny; (2) Deputies Éamon Ó Cuív and Mairéad Farrell - to discuss remedial work on a bridge near Kylemore Abbey on the N59 to stop flooding; (3) Deputy Chris Andrews - to discuss public safety concerns in Dublin’s inner city in light of ongoing street battles and the stabbing of a 13-year-old boy; (4) Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to discuss plans for a temporary reduction in excise duties on fuels and other measures to reduce the impact of escalating fuel prices; (5) Deputy Michael Healy-Rae - to discuss the issue of dentists and the General Medical Services scheme; (6) Deputy Brian Stanley - to discuss the plans of the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications to mitigate the impact of rising energy prices on the public; (7) Deputy Richard O'Donoghue - to discuss the urgency of tax relief measures for the haulage industry and for all commuters given escalating fuel costs; (8) Deputy Dessie Ellis - to discuss the sharp decline in the number of dentists in the medical card scheme; (9) Deputy David Stanton - to discuss recognition of Carrigtwohill and Midleton, County Cork, as one education centre for school transport; (10) Deputies Colm Burke and Holly Cairns - to discuss actions to encourage farmers to use more land in 2022 for the production of cereal crops; (11) Deputies Thomas Gould and Mark Ward - to discuss the continued closure of the Keltoi rehabilitation unit; (12) Deputy Martin Browne - to discuss services available for children with avoidant restrictive food intake disorder, ARFID; (13) Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - to discuss progress to address overcrowding issues at numerous Irish hospitals; (14) Deputies Neale Richmond, Ciarán Cannon and Joe McHugh - to discuss what plans are being made to accommodate Ukrainian refugees in Ireland; (15) Deputy Catherine Connolly - to discuss the announced closure of Scoil Náisiúnta Bhríde, Leitir Calaidh, Ceantar na nOileán, Contae na Gaillimhe; dúnadh Scoil Náisiúnta Bhríde, Leitir Calaidh, Ceantar na nOileán, Contae na Gaillimhe, scoil atá lonnaithe i gcroílár na Gaeltachta, a phlé; (16) Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - to discuss the potential for development of offshore wind power with particular reference to floating wind power; and (17) Deputy Matt Carthy - to discuss the emergency response to disruptions in the agrifood supply chain and its impact on farmers.
