Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputies Thomas Pringle, Pearse Doherty, Pádraig Mac Lochlainn - to discuss the United Kingdom decision to impose an electronic travel authorisation scheme in the context of the common travel area and to ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs the implications of legislation going through Westminster for non-Irish or British citizens living in Donegal and those travelling to Donegal, and what engagement he has had with his British counterparts; (2) Deputy Jennifer Whitmore - to discuss the recent closure of the Wicklow town citizens information centre in County Wicklow; (3) Deputy Brian Stanley - to discuss the lack of domestic violence refuge accommodation provision in Laois; (4) Deputy Dessie Ellis - to discuss how management companies formulate rules for private housing estates; (5) Deputy Neale Richmond - to discuss the need for body cameras for An Garda Síochána, as set out in Justice Plan 2022; (6) Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the NTA's plan in east Cork for disability services on all bus routes and by rail; (7) Deputy Jennifer Carroll MacNeill - to discuss with the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the ongoing water quality issues in Dublin Bay; (8) Deputy David Stanton - to ask the Minister for Education to discuss the need to ensure that every prospective student in east Cork has a secondary school place for the 2022-23 school year; (9) Deputy Colm Burke - to ask the Minister of State with responsibility for special education and inclusion to confirm if consideration would be given to establishing a new special school in the north east of Cork city due to the increased demand for places on the northside of that city; and if she will make a statement on the matter; (10) Deputies Matt Carthy and Christopher O'Sullivan - to discuss the Government response to the ongoing crisis facing the pig sector with the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine; (11) Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - to ask the Minister for Health to detail the steps taken to address the overcrowding issues at University Hospital Limerick; (12) Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - to discuss the delivery of a permanent site and building for Cork Educate Together Secondary School; and (13) Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to ask the Minister for Transport for an update on the plans to facilitate the transfer of King John's Castle to Limerick City and County Council from the Shannon Group.

The matters raised by Deputies Thomas Pringle, Pearse Doherty and Pádraig Mac Lochlainn; Jennifer Whitmore; Neale Richmond; and Matt Carthy and Christopher O'Sullivan have been selected for discussion.
