Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

Roimh bhogadh ar aghaidh tá na hÁbhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla le léamh amach agam. I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37A and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy James O'Connor - to discuss additional supports for primary and post-primary schools that are enrolling Ukrainian refugees; (2) Deputies Eamon Ó Cuív - to discuss the need to reduce islander fares on public service obligation, PSO, services by ferry and air by 20%; (3) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss authorising the re-interment of the remains of the five Invincibles in Glasnevin Cemetery; (4) Deputy Steven Matthews - to discuss the most recent position regarding the closure of the Wicklow town citizens' information centre; (5) Deputy Chris Andrews - to discuss proposals to repurpose Baggot Street Hospital to accommodate Ukrainian refugees; (6) Deputy Dessie Ellis — to discuss the need to modernise a school (details supplied) including the construction of an autism spectrum disorder, ASD, unit; (7) Deputy Joan Collins - to discuss the issues raised by medical scientists and the Medical Laboratory Scientists Association, MLSA, union in relation to pay parity; and (8) Deputy Verona Murphy — to discuss the five-year wait time for weight management services in Ireland East Hospital Group.

The matters raised by Deputies Joan Collins, Matthews, Ellis and O’Connor have been selected for discussion.
