We are now in public session. Before we proceed I wish to record the decision taken by the committee on EU legislative proposals. The committee agreed that Schedule A items, COM (2018) 147 and COM (2018) 148 warrant further scrutiny, which is the topic for consideration today; second that Schedule A items COM (2018) 85, COM (2018) 95, and COM (2018) 217 do not warrant further scrutiny.
