JOINT COMMITTEE ON FOREIGN AFFAIRS díospóireacht -
Wednesday, 1 Dec 2010

Business of Joint Committee

I have no note of any apologies. If any come in subsequently they should be given to the secretariat.

I remind members and those in the Visitors' Gallery to ensure their mobile telephones and BlackBerrys are switched off completely for the duration of the meeting as they cause interference, even on silent mode, with the recording equipment in the committee rooms. I ask that this instruction be respected.

The minutes of the meetings held on 24 and 25 November 2010 have been circulated. Are there any matters arising?

I attended the meeting on Wednesday, 24 November at 3.09 but my name is not on the attendance list.

We will have that put right. Are the minutes agreed? Agreed.

We have received correspondence from the Joint Committee on European Scrutiny arising from its meeting held on 18 November 2010. No proposals have been referred to the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and it is proposed that this be noted. Is that agreed? Agreed.
