Election of Vice Chairman
I wish to nominate Deputy John Lyons as Vice Chairman.
Are there any other nominations? If not, I declare Deputy John Lyons to be elected Vice Chairman. I congratulate him on his election and look forward to working with him as well as with the other members and the committee staff. We have all got to know each other quite closely during the last year. We have an agenda in place for the next couple of months, but there will certainly be room to add to that or make changes. It will be a lot easier now as we only have one Department to manage, rather than three. Nonetheless, we will have a lot of work to do.
I wish to thank everybody for their help in the past year and look forward to working with them for the rest of this session and beyond.
