This item was flagged last week and the committee agreed to deal with it at this meeting. Members were invited to put forward nominations if they so wished and I have received one nomination. Senator Ward has proposed Deputy Carroll MacNeill as Vice Chairman and that has been seconded by Deputy Creed. I invite Senator Ward to put the proposal to the committee.
Election of Vice Chairman
I nominate Deputy Carroll MacNeill as Vice Chairman. I do not need to address the proposal.
The Senator did so previously. As there are no other nominations, can I take it that the nomination of Deputy Carroll MacNeill is agreed to? Agreed. I offer my congratulations to the Deputy.
