We are now in public session. I remind members and those in the Public Gallery to please ensure that their mobile phones and Blackberries are completely switched off for the entire duration of this meeting as they cause interference, even on silent mode, with the recording equipment in committee rooms. I ask everybody to respect this instruction and ensure that mobiles are totally off, as they must not be used for any purposes, messages or otherwise during meetings in this House.
As far as I am concerned, as a citizen, regardless of being a public representative, it is an insult to colleagues, visitors and guests if phones are being used during a meeting, so please ensure they are all switched off.
The minutes of the previous meeting, on 3 June 2010, have been circulated. If there are no matters arising from the minutes, are they agreed? Agreed.
