Procedure

The minutes of the meeting of 31 October have been circulated and, if duly authorised. I will sign them.

I am sure the minutes are in order but I should like to refer to a matter which I raised at the last meeting. I made a suggestion then—it was not a proposal—that Members be circulated with written reports of meetings attended by delegations from the Joint Committee in Brussels. I got the impression that the meeting felt it would be a good idea to circulate such reports but there is no reference to that suggestion in the minutes. Am I in order in raising this matter now or should I wait until the minutes have been sanctioned?

That would be the correct procedure. I should comment that minutes only record decisions; they are not a report of the discussion proceeding decisions. I take it that the minutes are in order?

Minutes agreed.
