As Senators present are aware the Seanad Order governing debates on the Joint Committee reports has been renewed until 31 December 1981. However, I understand that the Dáil Order has not yet been renewed. At our last meeting Deputy Noonan undertook to speak to the Fianna Fáil Chief Whip about this. He has done so but so far there have not been any developments. There are Members of that party present who may secure a renewal of the Order as soon as possible. It is just a formality but until it is renewed we can not have the possibility of a debate in the Dáil on our reports. It depends on the renewal of the Order. It has been dealt with in the Seanad.
