Vol. 1 No. 8

COMMITTEE ON STANDING ORDERS.

AN CATHAOIRLEACH

The Committee itself, originally appointed, was fairly large, but substantially only four of us gave anything like regular attendance, and I wish particularly to acknowledge how much we are indebted to Senators O'Farrell and Kenny because they attended every meeting, and showed the keenest interest and intelligence with regard to those Standing Orders. The new Committee consists of six members, and if the Seanad agrees, I would suggest we add to those the Chairman, the Deputy Chairman, as well as Senators O'Farrell and Kenny, and to add Senator Jameson and Sir John Keane to that Committee, if they consent to act if nominated. The Committee would then consist of:—Senators O'Farrell, Kenny, and Jameson, and Sir John Keane, together with An Cathaoirleach and An Leas-Chathaoirleach.

Question put and agreed to.
