There is no difficulty about this Bill, because the same Select Committee sent this Bill back without suggesting any amendments to it. It now remains for the Report Stage, and there being no amendment down to it, I take it that the Report Stage is agreed to.

The suspension of the Standing Orders can only be moved if I am satisfied that it is urgent, and I am quite prepared to take your assurance that it is urgent, if you are able to give it to me.
Well, it is a Bill of some administrative urgency. The total establishment of the Gárda Síochána provides for 837 stations, and the business of placing them through the country has been of necessity slow. There are about 70 stations still to be established, and from the point of view of administration and of facilitating negotiation with owners of houses, it is rather important that the Board of Works should be armed with the powers given in the Bill.
I am satisfied to rule that the matter is urgent, and if some Senator will move the suspension of the Standing Orders we can take it now.
I move the suspension of the Standing Orders, so as to enable this Bill to be put through its final stage.
