Vol. 7 No. 2

SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS.

I move:

"That the Standing Orders be suspended for the purpose of enabling the remaining Stages of the Enforcement of Court Orders Bill, 1926, to be taken to-day, Wednesday, 12th May, 1926."

CATHAOIRLEACH

I should like to say I should have some difficulty about this, had we been, as I contemplated, meeting here on Friday next, but in view of the intelligence that has been received, I am glad to believe that it will not be necessary for us to sit on Friday. Consequently there is a certain amount of urgency with regard to this Bill, because we may not be sitting next week, and the Minister, I know, is anxious to get on with the Bill. It is consequential on some other measures before the Oireachtas. Accordingly, I am prepared to accept the motion which has been proposed.

Question put and agreed to.
