PUBLIC BUSINESS. - SUSPENSION OF STANDING ORDERS.

I move:—

"That the Standing Orders be suspended for the purpose of enabling the remaining stages of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Bill, 1928 to be taken to-day."

It is an absolutely uncontroversial measure. It simply suspends the operation of the Bill for a year, and there is no reason why we should not take the remaining stages to-day.
