I have received notice from Senator Patrick J. O'Reilly that on the motion for the Adjournment to-night he proposes to ask the Minister for Industry and Commerce to state what action his Department has taken or proposes to take in connection with the shortage of tinned steel, tin plates and other requisities required for the repair of churn bottoms and other parts of churns.
I am accepting that notice, and the matter will be taken at 9.30 p.m. or earlier if the business for to-day concludes.
May I ask if a question similar to this is not being asked in the Dáil to-day? I understand that a question in connection with tinplate is being asked in the Dáil by Deputy Mulcahy.
I have no notice of that.

It is on the Dáil Order Paper—not the Seanad Order Paper.
It appears on the Dáil Order Paper, and if Deputy Mulcahy and Senator O'Reilly had a row between themselves, as is obvious, I do not think they should thresh it out here.
That does not come within the scope of our proceedings.
Perhaps the real difficulty is not a row but a lack of cooperation.
It is not a matter for this House to debate.
