It is proposed that No. 2 on the Order Paper be taken at 7 o'clock, immediately after the tea recess, and that No. 3—Seanad Electoral (Panel Members) Bill, 1952, (Committee Stage)—be not taken until next week. The motions will not be taken to-day.
Order of Business.
Perhaps at 7 o'clock or the next sitting there might be some information given to the House as to the amount of business which will remain to be transacted before the Recess, because it is very difficult at the moment to discover what precisely we are being expected to do or in what conditions. Perhaps if I gave notice now, the Senator opposite might be able to give us some information.
It is hoped that there will be an indication given to the House later on as to what business will be expected.
