Táthar tar éis litir d'fháil ó Rúnaí Roinn an Taoisigh á rá go bhfuil an Taoiseach, ar an 27 Samhain, 1957, i bhfeidhmiú na gcumhacht a bheirtear dó le halt 4 den Acht Airí agus Rúnaithe (Leasú), 1946, (1) tar éis sannadh na Roinne Rialtais Áitiúil do Phádraig Mac Gabhann d'fhorceannadh agus an Roinn sin a shannadh do Niall Bléine, comhalta den Rialtas; (2) tar éis sannadh na Roinne Leasa Shóisialaigh do Phádraig Mac Gabhann d'fhorceannadh agus an Roinn sin a shannadh do Sheán Mac an tSaoí, comhalta den Rialtas; agus (3) tar éis sannadh na Roinne Talmhaíochta do Phroinsias Mac Aogáin d'fhorceannadh agus an Roinn sin a shannadh do Phádraig Mac Gabhann, comhalta den Rialtas.
A communication has been received from the Secretary to the Department of the Taoiseach that, in exercise of the powers conferred on him under Section 4 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1946, the Taoiseach on the 27th November, 1957, (1) terminated the assignment of the Department of Local Government to Patrick Smith and assigned that Department to Neil Blaney, a member of the Government; (2) terminated the assignment of the Department of Social Welfare to Patrick Smith and assigned that Department to Seán MacEntee, a member of the Government; and (3) terminated the assignment of the Department of Agriculture to Frank Aiken and assigned that Department to Patrick Smith, a member of the Government.
