I move:
"That Seanad Éireann, believing that the imposition of the present duty on pharmaceutical supplies is in conflict with the declared new tariff policy of the Government in view of the European trade situation and that higher prices for imported essential pharmaceutical supplies will result, requests the Minister for Industry and Commerce to make a statement on the imposition of this duty."
I formally move the motion so that it may be taken off the Order Paper.
