Order of Business.
Arising from the previous meeting of the Seanad, could the Leader of the House tell me when he proposes to take No. 5 in my own name and that of the Senator Lenihan?
The Senator will appreciate that it was the intention to take No. 5 as soon as the Electoral (Amendment) Bill was dealt with, with the fond hope that that happy event might have occurred before Easter. We ordered No. 5 on a number of occasions. It was through no fault of any Member on this side of the House that No. 5 was not reached. All I can tell the Senator at this stage is that he has my goodwill to take it as soon as we can. I understand that the Minister will be anxious to take it as soon as possible.
I accept that explanation.
