Before mentioning that, I would refer to the fact of the House not adjourning for lunch. I was specifically asked by the Fine Gael Whip not to break for lunch and it suited this side of the House not to break for lunch. I specifically told Senator Robinson that if the previous Bill finished by 1 o'clock that we would not break for lunch.
The Senator did not say the House would not break for lunch. I explained my problem.
In the circumstances, Senator Robinson's intemperate outburst was quite uncalled for.
The Senator definitely did not. I explained my problem. That is not true.
The only question now before the House is when it will meet again.
We will adjourn sine die.
The Seanad adjourned at 2 p.m. sine die.
