Vol. 100 No. 5

Order of Business.

I propose that we order items Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4. I am not so sanguine as to anticipate that we would complete all four of them today. I think we might take it that the House will sit at 10.30 a.m. tomorrow to carry on with this business.

It has been our custom in this House to propose motions of sympathy to the victims of natural disasters and of occasional outbursts of terrorist violence. So, may I propose that this House pass a vote of sympathy to the people of Nicaragua in the light of the terrorism being perpetrated against them by the Government of the United States?

It is not in order. We are discussing the Order of Business.

In replying to the discussion on the Order of Business might I suggest that the House would adjourn from 6 to 7 p.m. in order to avoid any difficulties arising from the departure of people for meals?

Order of Business agreed to.
