I regard the matters raised by Senators Naughten, Jackman, Doyle, Ó Foighil, Howard and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Naughten's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Jackman, Doyle, Ó Foighil, Howard and Neville may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
I regret I have to rule the matters raised by Senators O'Keeffe and McGowan are not suitable for discussion on the Adjournment — Senator O'Keeffe's on the grounds of lack of ministerial responsibility and Senator McGowan's as it advocates legislation.
