Vol. 155 No. 21

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Keogh that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to review and broaden the remit of the Refugee Agency.

I have also received notice from Senator Chambers of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources to outline the plans and proposals he has for the development of the seaweed industry along the Western seaboard.

I have also received notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to retain the "Breaking the Cycle" scheme in operation in the Central Model School, Marlborough Street and Scoil Mhuire, Dorset Street.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Keogh's and Chambers' matters and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Costello may give notice on another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
