Vol. 163 No. 9

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have notice from Senator Henry that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to outline the deliberations of the UN Congress on the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders, which took place in Vienna in April 2000, and Ireland's views and input on restorative justice.

I have also received notice from Senator Coghlan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources to make a statement on the local fishermen's traditional rights on the Caragh River and to clarify if a map can be produced clearly indicating ownership of the various sections.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
