Council Regulations: Motions.
Ms O'Rourke: I move the following motions:
That Seanad Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the options, provided by Article 4 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the Council and the Commission that it wishes to accept the following measure:
Council Regulation (EC) No. 334/2002 of 18th February 2002, amending Regulation (EC) No. 1683/95 laying down a uniform format for visas,
a copy of which measure was laid before Seanad Éireann on 11 November, 2003.
That Seanad Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 4 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the Council and the Commission that it wishes to accept the following measure:
Council Regulation (EC) No. 333/2002 of 18th February 2002, on a uniform format for forms for affixing the visa issued by Member States to persons holding travel documents not recognised by the Member State drawing up the form,
a copy of which measure was laid before Seanad Éireann on 11th November, 2003.
That Seanad Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 4 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the Council and the Commission that it wishes to accept the following measure:
Council Regulation (EC) No. 1030/2002 of 13th June 2002, laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals,
a copy of which measure was laid before Seanad Éireann on 11th November, 2003.
That Seanad Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 3 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the President of the Council that it wishes to take part in the adoption and application of the following measure:
a proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) 1683/95 laying down a uniform format for visas,
a copy of which measure was laid before Seanad Éireann on 11th November, 2003.
That Seanad Éireann approves the exercise by the State of the option, provided by Article 3 of the fourth Protocol set out in the Treaty of Amsterdam, to notify the President of the Council that it wishes to take part in the adoption and application of the following proposed measure:
a proposal for a Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) 1030/2002 laying down a uniform format for residence permits for third-country nationals,
a copy of which measure was laid before Seanad Éireann on 11th November, 2003.
