Vol. 175 No. 20

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Kitt that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to sanction funding to complete the drainage of the River Nanny, Tuam; the cost of completing this work; and if he will discuss the issue with Galway County Council which is currently carrying out repairs to bridges on this river.

I have also received notice from Senator Feighan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to outline the measures to be taken and the funding he intends to make available to resurface the school yard at Brosna national school, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon, in the interests of health and safety.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
