I apologise to Members and to the Cathaoirleach and his staff for the inconvenience caused by sitting so late. I did this in good faith as I understood the Credit Institutions (Financial Support) Bill 2008 was to have gone through the Dáil by now. As we all know, however, Second Stage has just commenced in that House at 10 p.m. and it is planned to conclude Second Stage at midnight. The Bill will be in this House tomorrow when it has completed its passage through the Dáil.
