Vol. 207 No. 13

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Diarmuid Wilson that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Finance to give an update regarding the future of Quinn Insurance Limited and the Quinn Group and the reason the Quinn Group proposal was not given full and adequate consideration.

I have also received notice from Senator Cecelia Keaveney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to clarify if any element of the Oireachtas sports committee report, The Olympics — From Athens to London, has been implemented and the status of the other recommendations.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
