I have received notice from Senator Denis Landy that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to state whether he will carry out a review of the new system of local government known as Putting People First which was introduced following the local elections in May 2014.
I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion and it will be taken now.
