I have received notice from Senator Robbie Gallagher that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice to provide an update on the investigation into the 1974 Dublin and Monaghan bombings.

I have also received notice from Senator Joe O'Reilly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State with responsibility for disability to make a statement on the delay in initial appointments and assessments of needs for children with disabilities and, in particular, the issue around recruitment of therapists and proof of parentage rules.

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Fitzpatrick of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage to provide an update on a commencement date for a 1916 commemorative centre located at 14-17 Moore Street.

I have also received notice from Senator Victor Boyhan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications to make a statement on the continuation of the current arrangement for the disposal by burning of green waste on farmland.

I have also received notice from Senator Maria Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to make a statement on the inclusion of pharmacy and other dispensing assistants and pharmaceutical technicians on the ineligible list of occupations for employment permits.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to ensure Cork is a designated port for the importation of non-EU fresh produce.

I have also received notice from Senator Marie Sherlock of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on the provision of new lactation consultants posts in 2022.

I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the roll-out of the HPV vaccine to all under 18-year-olds, including those who wish to avail of the catch-up programme.

I have also received notice from Senator Sharon Keogan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to make a statement on a post-Covid return to in-person consultations for women seeking access to termination of pregnancy services.

I have also received notice from Senator Lynn Boylan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine to make a statement on his views on the Cypriot proposal for an EU-wide positive list system to regulate the exotic pet trade in advance of the European Council Agrifish meeting on 24 May.

Of the matters raised by the Senators that are suitable for discussion, I have selected those of Senators Gallagher, O'Reilly, Fitzpatrick and Boyhan and they will be taken now. The other Senators may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
