I move amendment No. 11:
In page 23, subsection (3), to delete lines 37 and 38 and substitute the following:
"(3) If any person conceals or, in the case of a person not being the owner of the wreck, keeps possession of any wreck to which subsection (1) applies or refuses to".
As drafted section 44 could operate to prevent an owner of property keeping possession of such property. This amendment provides that only a person who is not the owner of the property will be prohibited from keeping possession of it.
