I move amendment No. 91 :—
To delete sub-section (1).
I consider that sub-section (2) is adequate and that there is no necessity for sub-section (1).

I would like to hear if the Minister has any reason for sub-section (1).
This sub-section shows what a Reserve officer's liability is as regards where he may be required to serve while on permanent service. It is the same as Section 85, governing officers of the permanent force, which apparently Deputy Cowan has not questioned at all. It may be that he thinks sub-section (2) covers everything, since it says that a Reserve officer shall serve under such conditions as may be prescribed. I think, however, that the territorial liability for service is important enough to be dealt with specifically.
