Can the Minister clarify section 5 (4)?
SECTION 5.
Question proposed : " That section 5 stand part of the Bill."
It means that if there was an order for the payment of say, £15 a week for a wife and £5 each a week for two children, an order discharging it in relation to the wife by virtue of desertion or adultery refers only to herself and not that part that is applicable to the children.
That is the reason I asked the question, it is very important that we be clear on this.
