375 Mr. Crowe asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will report on the progress of the national youth work advisory committee in finalising a proposal for North-South validation of youth work training; if the proposal has been submitted to his Department; if the proposal will be made available to the public; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The National Youth Work Advisory Committee, NYMAC, and the Youth Council for Northern Ireland are in the process of finalising a joint proposal for criteria for the professional endorsement of youth work training in Ireland. The NYWAC is seeking the views of the Higher Education and Training Awards Council and the Further Education and Training Awards Council on their draft proposals. When these views have been received, the proposal will be submitted for my consideration.
