629 Mr. Connaughton asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a blind allowance for a person (details supplied) in County Galway has not been made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1950/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe assessment of entitlement to and payment of the blind welfare allowance in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been forwarded to the chief executive officer, Western Health Board, with a request that she examine the case and reply to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
