723 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for Health and Children the staffing complement in the accident and emergency unit at the County Hospital, Roscommon; the planned staffing complement following the opening of the new accident and emergency facility next month; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The provision of medical services, including accident and emergency services at the County Hospital, Roscommon, is the responsibility of the Western Health Board. My Department has asked the chief executive officer of the board to investigate the position in relation to this matter and reply to the Deputy directly.
