244 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will report on the proposal by Kerry County Council to acquire a right-of-way and a site for a purpose built child care centre from his Department at the Grove, Dingle, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department is currently considering the issue of ceding a portion of land to a local group for the purpose of building a child care centre in Dingle. As soon as a decision is made on the matter the Department will be in contact with the local authority and the child care group.
