321 Mr. Naughten asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, further to Question No. 438 of 18 November 2003, the specific funding allocated for such signage on a county by county breakdown of this figure; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3397/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraOf the €477 million allocated to local authorities for the improvement and maintenance of non-national roads in 2004, €5 million has been set aside for the non-national roads signage costs involved in the metrication of speed limits. I will be announcing the breakdown of this €5 million between individual local authorities at a later date.
