317 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children the cost of the public relations and information campaign relating to the report of the National Task Force on Medical Staffing; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3573/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department is arranging for an information campaign on the report of the National Task Force on Medical Staffing. In line with EU procurement guidelines, the campaign is the subject of a formal tendering process, which is in progress. For competitive reasons, it would be inappropriate to specify a budget in the request for tender documents while candidate firms are preparing their proposals. I expect the contract to be awarded by my Department towards the end of this month.
