251 Mr. F. McGrath asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of adults with intellectual disabilities on residential, day care and respite waiting lists; and if there has been a reduction over the past two months. [5136/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for identifying the number of adults with intellectual disabilities requiring residential, day care and respite places is a matter, in the first instance, for the Eastern Regional Health Authority and the health boards. My Department has, therefore, asked the regional chief executive of the authority and the chief executive officers of the health boards to investigate the matter raised by the Deputy and reply directly to him.
