152 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will investigate the transfer of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare from St. Patrick’s Institution to Shelton Abbey; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6401/04]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe prisoner concerned is serving a cumulative sentence of two years for the unauthorised taking of an MPV, criminal damage, no insurance, assault and trespass. He is scheduled to be released, with standard remission, on 27 July 2005. Therefore, I am not prepared to consent to his transfer to an open centre at this time.
